After
the Russian Elections: perspectives on future UK-Russian relations.
This bilingual round table discussion was held in London last year with a very distinguished group of expert speakers from the UK and Russia. The Russia All Party Parliamentary Group in Parliament kindly hosted the Conference Dinner for the Russian delegates, who were also entertained at Pushkin House.

Proud to be a Geordie
When a former client died, we were touched to be asked to organise a private memorial event. Old friends gathered at The Sage, Gateshead for a “This is your life” style morning.
-
Hosted by Kate Silverton from BBC TV and Harry Gration from BBC Yorkshire.
-
Video clips of distinguished figures who had known him, including Michael Portillo and Lord Heseltine.
-
Newly shot video footage of his achievements.
-
Live contributions.
For lunch, the whole of the Baltic Centre 6th floor was taken over to eat his favourite foods cooked to Michelin standards.
The afternoon was a musical event with the Northern Symphonic Orchestra, conducted and stage managed by musical professionals with whom we have worked for nearly 20 years.
-
Extracts from Cats (negotiated especially with Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Really Useful Group)
-
International soprano Suzannah Clarke
-
Private video of the event also produced.
And departing guests were presented with a hardback illustrated biography which we’d written, designed and produced.
Sponsorship
We’ve arranged a wide range of sponsorship to meet clients’ particular needs. One that was particularly pleasing was the publication of a report from the Football All Party Parliamentary Group – drop down the left hand side menu to view.
Getting elected
When the leader of the opposition of a small democratic country wanted to inject professionalism into his campaign planning, a small Bergmans team was called into action. During two visits immediately before the campaign started, we:
-
Media trained the client in advance of a “face to face” with the then Prime Minister.
-
Negotiated support from business and church leaders.
-
Organised focus groups with a wide range of electors.
-
Critiqued election collateral materials.
-
Rewrote and edited the Party manifesto
The result? The client won the election by a landslide and became Prime Minister.
